The East Coast Research and Discovery Association meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm (except December, when we have our holiday party) at the American Legion post in Pompton Plains NJ. All are welcome — drop in and introduce yourself! Come for the refreshments, meet the members, swap metal-detecting tips, find out what’s for trade or for sale. Check out our Finds of the Month competition. We often feature guest speakers, and somebody’s always got a collection to show. We’re a friendly bunch, and it’s a great opportunity to learn from those who have significant experience in the hobby.
So join us! There’s no obligation to do anything except have a good time. Of course, we’d be glad to have you join the club if you’d like. Members get a monthly alert (via text or email) about upcoming meetings.

To remind everyone that our dues are payable at any time in January, February, and March. As an incentive to pay up ASAP, those who pay dues in January receive three entries in a special drawing held in April. You pay in February, you get two entries. Dues paid in March receive one entry. So – the earlier you pay, the better your chances of winning one of Joe’s special prizes – and you know he doesn’t skimp on prizes!
All new & returning members should fill out this form and mail it to the club with your dues. Or, you can sign & pay at the meeting. Keep in mind that only paid-up members can attend our special outings, permission hunts, and members-only hunts & such.
